311 in Oxford, last night, 3/2/2008 - Nick's voice

So with all this talk of Nick's voice deteriorating, I just thought I'd leave a positive comment about it. Either it was great faking on Nick's part (ie. he didn't sing and it was recorded) or he's been working on his voice because last night, I think, was the best sound I've ever heard coming from those guys. My first show as 6 years ago, and I've seen them multiple times every year since then (including the last 311 day) and I can honestly say I was even impressed. Now, it's not the best singing I've ever heard in my life, but it was definitely better than anything I've heard, and there were no glaring out of key parts that made my ears bleed. So, I guess that's good news for all of you lucky enough to be going to 311 day this year, and for the rest of the tour! It wasn't just Nick though, the whole show sounded really good.

Sorry for the lack of setlist. I have a horrible memory, and kind of get lost in the concert too much to pay enough attention to write things down. I was actually very surprised at the songs they played. It was great. I was worried it'd be a much slower, more "pop" 311 because of where they were playing, but it wasn't at all. As I said, one of the best shows I've seen. They did play DTOM, not offbeat bareass.
