Big festival July 4th weekend. Tickets for the weekend (can't buy single day) are $244.75 BUT if you order them on February 27th they are $199. Lots of good bands playing. I'd go if I could afford to and my summer wasn't pretty booked already with wedding stuff for my cousin.

I'll definitely be there I'm so excited that there is going to be something so awesome so close to where I live!!
I'm still trying to dig up some friends who can afford it to go with me (I'm a huge wuss... too scared to (as a girl) go alone)... but I can't BELIEVE some of the bands who are going to be there. Some of my absolute favorites:
311... Yonder Mountain String Band, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Primus (how can you not <3 primus???), Keller Williams, WSP, Gov't Mule.... it's insanity.

Re: Rothbury Festival
Sorry to revive an old thread... but I just bought tickets. Last minute, decided I had to be there. Is anyone else going to Rothbury? I'm thinking the lineup seems a little bit not like the typical 311 type crowd, so it should be interesting, but it'll be a great time!

I will be there. I am really looking forward to it. Not sure when you will be getting there, but I have heard that they will be loading the camping areas from back to front. So the earlier you get there, the further you will be from the entrances. Either way it should be a fun festival.

Re: Rothbury Festival
Ohhh... so you don't get to pick your camp site... that kind of sucks. Oh well. Any idea how many people are going to be there? I'd love to have a rough estimate... I've been to festivals in Ohio, but nothing big like this. I'm excited There are only 2 showers though and they charge you to use them.

Re: Rothbury Festival
Well you obviously get to pick your area but I think as you come in, they assign you to a camping lot. I really have no idea of how many people. It seems like a pretty large festival but since it is the first year, it may not be crazy packed.
Showering is overrated.

Thanks for the links. That Nix Hex video was epic. Again, I wish they'd do that kind of stuff more often.

Re: Rothbury Festival
I was disappointed they did not play Homebrew (Independence Day) on the 4th of July. I thought that would be a given.
Still a solid show. P-Nut coming up to the crowd for the Feels So Good Intro was cool. The crowd literally rushed the front. It was weird to see 311 in the daylight. Its been a while since that has happened.
