i'm just curious how many peeps still consider 311 their fave band...

i know we all used to no matter what element, mr nova, or a few others say

sooooo who all still digs 311 more than any other band?

i say yes, though, like jordan i havent listend to them much recently, every time i do, its like pure and utter bliss, which is the feelin you're supposed to get everytime your favorate band comes on

Yes even though I don't listen to them as much anymore. I also consider them equal with Jeff Buckley for my favorite.

yeah they just have a power, i havent really listened to them much lately, but whenever they tour, i dunno, maybe its just the nostalgia for old times, but every time they tour i just go as much as possible. i still say they have the most fun shows, i saw coheed last night, and as much as they kick ass live, and as gay as 311 fans are, at least they got the memo that concerts are not for showing everybody around you how well you know all the lyrics and how loud and out of tune you can shout them in people's ears

they are still my favorite band, and thats mainly because i still love their live shows more than anything, and that has never been touched, until recently. i went and saw umphrey's mcgee show and was completely blown away. i've got their dvd's and stuff, but like 311's, you really gotta see it live to feel it. so 311 is still on top, but like dave said, they better watch their back cuz they bein tailed by the umph.

side note: about 6 months ago, i vowed that if 311 and UM ever played a show together, i would be there, no matter what. yay for LANGARADO!!!

I like them... but the fanaticism is an old era for me. They're great to listen to, and I've got fond memories, but it was a combination in my taste in music changing and just getting tired of playing them all the time.

no band even comes close for me. I get away from them every now and then, but when i go back to jamming their stuff, it makes me like them even more......is 311 day here yet?!?!?!
