yes i read that post a few days ago! pink floydesque 311 music sounds pretty nice to me!

and yes i remember the interview talking about dark side of the moon, i watched it and almost shit my pants when he starting saying he was getting into dark side of the moon and maybe doing a concept album or something like that

while they were in japan for a few shows in 2006 they signed for one last album.. i don't think it had a timeline or anything, but it was an extension to the contract..

The band knows that DTOM sucked, so I dont think they'll let something like that happen again.

yea, but i think they know what not to make this time around after the reaction dtom got. If this album will be the complete polar opposite of what dtom was, i don't think we'll have anything to worry about

meddle and animals are in a diff. category than dark side of the moon.

but yes im very happy that they are venturing into progressing style of music, like they said before they went into the hive " we want to capture the jamms on stage like in nex hex and put that on an album."

well, i could almost say i would've liked it more before people on here started bashing it, but i think i know what i like and dislike. I remember when i was in a soundsystem haze, and then from chaos came out and i was dissapointed. So i wouldn't say i completely disliked dtom, i was just a little dissapointed with the way it turned out after the headway they made with evolver.
