Setlist from 7/29 Boston Show

Post by pnutwannabe »

It was such a sick show. Matisyahu was one of the best, if not the best opener I've ever seen. 311 was so high energy and impact. I honestly though there was only 15 songs played, but they were coming hard and fast. So fucking amazing

Beautiful Disaster
Misdirected Hostility
Do You Right
All Re-Mixed Up
Homebrew
Dont Tread (For Christopher)
Love Song w/ Matisyahu
Large In The Margin
Wake You Mind Up
Salsa (How bout some grassroots...this is one we have'nt played in a while)
Applied Science (Drum Solo)
Freak Out
Rub A Dub
Freeze Time
Sick Tight
Dont Let Me Down
Amber
Hydroponic
Creatures

E:
Omaha Stylee w/ Intro
Beyond The Grey Sky
Down

Great show. I just got home and took a shower....I had nasty sweaty drunk guys leaning on me the entire show and felt so gross the entire car ride home. Overall a great show. Was SO happy when they played DLMD, laughed when they played Amber right after. Was also psyched about there being no WGTH chant :D Someone near me tried to start one but everyone around him yelled no and to stfu

One of the drunk sweaty annoying guys behind me was screaming singing along....out of tune/key....and not even singing anything remotely close to the right lyrics...didn't even know the lyrics to Amber and would try to make songs sound as though they were some sort of hardcore song  I was happy when he finally got pushed away from me at the end of the show.

I hope they're just warming up Salsa for Minneapolis, I don't know how many threads I have made requesting that song...

Sir, I would suggest accepting my opinion and not calling bullshit on it.

We do not. We be good people. Like someone said in some other thread, Matisyahu got the crowd going like I've never seen a 311 opener do, and actually more than I've seen almost any opener do.

word man, you just seemed overly frustrated at jorge's comment. I greatly enjoyed matis myself, yet I feel the same way as jorge in terms of there being better openers, i thought the wailers were more exciting, and although i was not in attendance on the tour of 04, im sure the roots would have been significantly more enjoyable.

Openers really depend on the type of music you like. Chances are if you are a fan of the opener you will like it way more than someone who isn't
