Would you skip 311 day...

If you won a free spring break trip? My room mate and I won a free spring trip to where ever we want through studentcity.com at collegefest on Saturday. My spring break starts 311 day weekend so we would leave then. I want to go to 311 day but if I don't take this free spring break trip to where ever we want (looks like Cancun is where we are going) I will have to pay for where ever I go for spring break in the future.

My room mate keeps telling me I can skip 311 day because she is skipping the Dropkick Murphy's St Paddy day show in Boston (DKM for her is 311 for me).

I thought about that, but the whole "where ever we want" is more so "where ever we want that is offered by studentcity.com and the only US places they offer are in Florida, the rest are Mexico, Jamaica, Bahamas, and Bermuda. Right now I am pretty set on going on the free trip...because it is free...but I know that either one I choose I am going to kick myself later for not going with the other one. I know if I skip out on the free trip I probably won't go anywhere out of the country for spring break since I more than likely won't have money to...and I know if I miss 311 day it is going to be an even better setlist than if I went. Damn spring break and 311 day being at the same time for me!

I'd do 311 day. But then again I've never been to a 311 day before. If you've already been to a 311 day, then take the free trip. I mean, 311 is great and all... But Cancun is like a fuckin dream paradise. I've always wanted a vacation like that. Wanna take me? lol. You can always watch a bootleg video of 311 day later on. haha

Forget Cancun, hit up Jamaican and smoke dank nugs. Or fly through wherever 311 Day is, hit that up in the evening, then sleep off the next morning on an aeroplane to Jamaica!

even though i havent ever been to a 311 day, and i think i am going to the next one (omfgggg!), I dont think I would be able to pass up a free vacation like that. I just dont think it would be possible. thats a once in a lifetime thing, and trips like that are VERY expensive... Enjoy the trip, pump the 311, and dont regret whatever choice you make.

trips like that arent expensive.

you can go to an island for a week for not too much dough (provided you have a job)

Cancun or where ever isnt going anywhere.. 311 wont be around forever. You will get old, they will get old.. the tours will happen less frequently.. One of them could get killed or leave the band or be paralyzed in an accident.. LA could have a massive earthquake and they will all be killed... point is. 311 day will be better than a spring break trip. You can take a trip and get drunk whenever you want to.
