311 did launch http://www.live311.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; recently and the DVD of the 2011 311 Pow Wow Festival Transistor Full Album Set is on there for like $20. I got it and love it, 'Transistor' is by far my fave album, BY FAR!!!!

Honestly, a B Side or something like that here and there would be cool, but I'd rather have 311 releasing concert DVD's for sale, as I have only seen them live four times, and love concert DVD's anyways. I'd especially like to see the Music Full Album Pow Wow Festival Set be released on DVD, as well as the first ever 311 Day show from March 11th 2000.

Also, just thought of something else. It's not 311, but Ghostwolf does have S.A. and P-Nut in it, so that's worth checking out for sure, I was hoping Ghostwolf would mostly feature S.A. rapping, rather than the melodic singing most of the band's song's feature, but overall like them still.

They didn't play music in it's entirety at pow-wow fyi. I've seen you mention this in at least 3 other threads and felt the need to tell you this.

Really?? Huh! I could have sworn that I heard somewhere that they also did a 'Music' set and a 'Universal Pulse' set at Pow Wow's. LOL, yeah and mentioned this so many times b/c I didn't see there was a thread specifically for http://www.live311.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; till after I did the others. Hmmmm, so I guess the DVD I am waiting for than is 311 Day 2000.

Obviously I'm like all of you I'd love to get new 311 stuff all the time but yeah that just doesn't happen.

The one thing though I think the band owes to the hardcore dedicated fans like us that have supported them for decades+ is to finally release some of those "Z Sides" from 'Transistor'! There is no way all of them are just rumors, at least one or two has to be something that was recorded as a demo or b-side, hell I'd like to just see lyrics for any of them.

I'm talking about:
Clone Me
Earth People
MTA
The Quickening
Writer's Block Party
To The Future
Everything

Or how about the 'Soundsystem' rumored unreleased b sides:
Forward
Hazy
The 90's

I mean that is 10 songs from what a ton of us consider 311's best time, the late 90's 'Transistor' and 'Soundsystem'. You can't tell me honestly anyone you think all 10 of these are just rumors or were early titles to songs that appeared on album under different name. Sure, a few might, maybe even half or 2/3's of them, but there is definitely at least 1 or 2 of these that has been sitting somewhere on a shelf since damn 1997-1999!!!

Come on people we all know there more recent albums just aren't even in the same league as the early to mid era albums, I personally think 'From Chaos' started the downhill fall and 'Don't Tread on Me' and 'Uplifter' pretty much just made it a fact of life 311 isn't gonna release an album again that stands even close to 'Music' - 'Soundsystem' or in my opinion 'Evolver' which I think is an excellent album if you just delete "Same Mistake Twice" from it.

I'd seriously in a second pay $25 if 311 released those 10 b sides as an album similar to Rage Against the Machine's 'Live and Rare' release, as long as the audio quality was good on all 10 tracks.

It may just be me but I think those 10 tracks are our only hope to get another song from 311 that is on the same level as greats like "Freak Out", "Welcome", "Stealing Happy Hours", "Galaxy", "Homebrew", "Down", "Large in the Margin"..etc...

I'll tell you seriously the only one thing I want to get out of 311 Day 2014 is for them to finally play one of those 10 songs

Yeah I think the indignance is a bit over the top here, but I do miss when 311 would just post B-sides to their audio page. They did it with "we do it like this" and a few other B-sides. Maybe going independent will allow more flexibility for this.

wow. 25 whole dollers? 311 would be able to retire with that kind of cold hard cash!
