Re: Thank me later...
I'm sure everyone has it figured out by now that this isn't 311... but the clincher is at 0:07, the line "the more space we have from each other the better" is definitely extracted from a video interview.

Sure does...whoa this site has changed in only a week. I could care less if that is 311 or not. Still waiting for the official leak and of course I will buy my 2 or 3 copies to support the band.fatlip wrote:i believe this topic belongs in misdirected hostility

Why would you buy 2 or 3 copies of an album? I swear, 311 fans get dumber by the minute.

Re: Thank me later...
Produce that interview... sounds like a hexum demo to me. Has the feel of a lot of dtom demos.
Might not be though... sounds more mature than recent 311.
I end up buying multiple versions of the album.. day one I want an actual cd. Best buy only has the reg version.. so then I gotta go to itunes and get a deluxe album to hear the extra songs day one. Then to amazon.... this year I went for the cd vinly t shirt mp3 pack

i preorder, then i realize, if you buy from an independent record store, you get the first single on vinyl, so i get a copy then as well, but I don't see anything like that happening this time around

The only time in recent history that I payed for an album twice is for This Will Destroy You's album, Tunnel Blanket. It was released on CD, Vinyl, and oddly enough, on 2x cassette.

Its actually pretty neat to have musicians that optimized static and lo-fi technology to enhance the scope of the album's concept. I'm grateful to have purchased it on cd so I can listen to it anywhere, but I was more than happy to shell out a few extra bucks to hear the album in a different format. If there is a high contrast between formats or if the format is singularly compelling, than it warrants an extra purchase from me. Like portishead's digital release on a custom flash drive. Or just simply because the artwork is different.

Why the fuck is it taking so long for this thing to get on the internet? Better yet, and more annoying, why don't iTunes and Amazon have song samples yet? What the FUCK?

only vinyl I don't have is the Japanese import of "flavors" I need to get matching frames though, but they're all hung up purdy like.
