I think a tracker would work better these days. When you last tried it out, torrents weren't very popular yet... but nowadays most people have the hang of them and use them regularly. With a little promotion, I think it would work out well.

we tried torrents in the past (even ran my own private tracker and everything) but most people don’t get how to use them. I dont want to seed 32 discs. This project is really geared towards those that want to keep things as simple as requesting them and having them mailed to their doorstep. Perhaps a torrent would be more feasible if we had a good seed-base with many 311 fans who have the sets. However, if somebody who gets the set wants to do the same as I did in the past and seed it up, and spread it out, I’d support it 100%

i'm not against the idea of a tracker i'd even set it up, but i'm deff. not seeding 32 discs..... infact, no i wouldn't even set it up, I'd support somebody else doing so if they wanted but be prepared to be answering a lot of the same questions over and over.

it's extremely hard to send you discs when you have yet to give me your mailing information, in fact it's impossible. either send me your information or quit posting the fact that you are owed dvds

Just wanted to say, we now have our first non-USA signup for the collection. I wonder who'll step up to getting this thing sent out internationally? keep in mind, these dvds are indeede region free and not encrypted for this very purpose. I told snipe to sign up so he could be the first but he wanted to hold off.

it'd be more economic for the project if the international users just paid for the one way shipping and blank dvds and had someone else burn them for them. that way theres no return shipping
