Hey man, i was there also. on the rails between nick and nutterbutter.
Caught one of Chads drumsticks. One that he used and not a reserve set. so thats a good night. Sucked that they wouldnt give us the setlists. Only one got handed out and it was ripped up when people tried to grab it.
I'll have pics and shit tommororw from Charlotte

ok fuck it...i'm gonna just get off the band wagon for a sec...
the set was awesome, HOWEVER, i have a few of my own petty complaints (stupid restraints). the mix of sound was terrible from the lawn. absolutely NO bass and tim was up waaaaay too loud. cali soca was BUTCHERED. it had its cool moments, but the guitars were really off for the first 20 sec (of sound other than drums).
DTOM was out of tune and really slow. RUNNING WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! (i was in a state of pure ecstasy at that moment so i didn't hear this, but my friend said the transition from the intro to the first verse was waaaay choppy)
starshines was SICK! BTGS WAS PERFECT!!! (i really dislike that song live because of the meaning, but seeing allllllllllllllllllllllllllllll those lighters *more than 311 day* changed it and they fucking RAWKED IT OUT!!!! they reaaalllllly should have closed with ftbs. plain was sweet as well.
i disagree with the statement made about it rocking harder than austin night 2. that show was just as powerful in a smaller venue. it took over twice the amount of ppl to rock atlanta as it did for austin.
DON'T GET ME WRONG!!!!! that show was off the hook last night and they loved playing it as much as we loved watching it, you can tell....and to me, thats priceless

Pearce I noticed all those things and then some. I couldnt hear Chad's drums and I was a few rows behind the pit. His snare sounded soft plus he was barely hitting it. I noticed those parts in running, they messed it up.

word. i was hoping i wasn't the only person feeling that way. none the less, that was the MOST awesome way to celebrate that big marker for me (selfish i know) but i wanted the 20th to be somethin special...later to find out it was the 10 yr anniversarry of transistor and they played running, i found heaven at that point lol
lets face it the setlist should have been much better why does charlotte get a crazy show.. and atlanta gets an avg one. doesent make any sense they say they love atl. and want to put on an amazing show there every time , and while it fucking rocked.. i was a little dissapointed with the song selection, something like charlotte would have been close to ideal.
