I've noticed this for awhile but nobody has mentioned it. What's the deal with all the new registered members with porno websites. Are they bots or what?

Whoa that is pretty fucked up.
I went to the memberlist and looked up the members by 'Joined date' and 'Descending' and the last like 50 people that joined all have these porn sites in for their websites... o_O
What's the deal?
What happened to the Zack hexum forums, jimmy?
Is this what you're talkin' about? http://zackhexum.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=4
How do you know that's connected to this? I wouldn't be surprised if it is, though. That's pretty fucked up.

Doesn't Station have to manually approve all new members?
Maybe he should ban all these new accounts.

That was weird, and a pain to delete them.

I guess I'll have to look more closely when I approve accounts.

Most of them, anyway. I noticed that a few older accounts had similar properties. But I doubt they would cause much trouble if there were few of them. FYI I am sure that these are automated accounts, created with some sort of bot registering program.... pretty annoying.

Another forum that I read every so often is having this problem too. Their policy is that every account that registers with a website in the profile gets automatically deleted.

Just let everyone know that is already joined that has a website in their account deletes it. UNLESS this only is referring to new members.
