with all the noobies coming in, i prupose and idea i found in another forum, it had that you had to have a certain post count to make threads, this would help when we have people that come to the boards fro the sole reason of getting things from us ya know?

just sayin, this can be like an initition type thing
another forum had a rule where you have karma points, peopl will neg mod you or pos mod you depending on your post, each person has only a certain amount of points so they dont go on a modding spree, and to be able to post your own thread, you have to have a karma level of like 20,
and if your karma is very very low, you get banned

screw the karma system. but id say people should post 20 times before they can make threads. it would be useful in the more beats for your buck section.

Yeah restrict access to more beats for your buck, and open it only if you have more than 20 posts.CollapsingVisionary wrote:screw the karma system. but id say people should post 20 times before they can make threads. it would be useful in the more beats for your buck section.
But then again, those people who download might also be seeding...or not.
You may have already said it ALex, but...
Can you (Station) make it so someone has to have a certain number of posts before they even know the more beats for you buck section? That seems to be the only section that would have the problem jimmy presented.

Yes, but with what I said, they wouldn't even know that the forum existed until they got that number of posts. So they wouldnt have anything to post nonsense for because they wouldn't know about it.gramps311 wrote:if there was a post count required to make a thread newbies would post tons of crap just to get the number of posts required to make a thread
