Yeah when Ska and I sent out a PM to basically every person who had a pulse on Heaven. ... that took a really long time.

It was because I posted a thread that had a lot of questions that everyone was asking and i raised alot of points that other people were raising. I just put it all in one spot for the Mods to check out and give us some answers ... and i said that if it got deleted i would send it to every single person that posts ... and it got deleted within three minutes .. We had a Chatroom open at that point too (most of discussing what was going on with Heaven) and someone said tell everyone that they should come to TB.. and since I was gonna send out that PM to nearly everyone anyway it just sort of mushed together. ... then SKA and i started sending my thread and stuck " Hey! We're going to TB here's the link. Check it." at the top.. and that's how it went down. April 27th was a good day.

Wow I never knew how somewhat organized it was. You are such an instigator, emily.

I have always felt kind of BAD that TB sort of stole everyone from 311forums, especially since I think everyone's reasons for getting pissed were very lame. Sometimes I wanted to shut down TB so the people who were dicks and got banned from 311forums on purpose couldn't just come over here. But I didn't, and I'm glad I didn't, of course.

haha instigator. that is a great word for me.

People moved here because of all the crap on Heaven. I didn't care about the Bannings so much, I just wanted answers. When i wasn't getting any answers and all my questions were deleted and ignored i got frustrated and came here.

TB didn't steal anyone persay. TB was just a more welcoming enviroment for that time, and it's stuck.

traffic slowed to an almost sickening halt, smoke wanted to revamp it, and make a site that would have rivaled 311heaven's content, but everyone who was involved with him on the project wasnt willing to work cooperatively. he didnt see why he should keep that forum up and put the work in when TB served a larger audience + purpose.

So he's officially not going to do that, ever? At some point it seemed really close to happening, and it would have been sweet. There's still a void to be filled there, I think. ComeOriginal.com is just the thing, but it doesn't look like a modern web site.

it doesnt seem like it will come together. i dont know much more beyond the fact that he had trouble getting a steady help and cooperation. ;(
