Sarcasm punctuation

Post by Drums »

Me and a friend of mine always use sarcasm. We were talking on aol one time and it was hard to tell when either of us were being sarcastic or not, so we thought that there should be a punctuation mark to show sarcasm. That is a problem here too. It is super hard to tell if someone is being sarcastic or not 99% of the time. Just something funny to think about.

Anyone got an idea?

Actually, I never took that for sarcasm.

you're so mature, luke.

calling someone by their name at the end of a sentence also implies sarcasm, usually (or some other type of condescending comment)
