We should have a Classics section, where the most controversial and or longest threads after a certain number of responses get moved after they drop off of the main page (signaling a lack of activity). The threads would then be locked and can be easily accessed for nostalgic purposes within the Classics (or whatever it'd be called) section.

If we somehow forgot those memories, we could just go to the forum and be like" Oh yeah..." I think its a good idea.
Once the threads are moved there, they would probably need to be locked so they would stay classic. I wouldn't mind making this forum, but we'd all have to decide which threads to put there.
Yeah, I'd say the ones with the most replies automatically means that it was a big of enough deal to be "classic" and in everyone's heads. a lot of threads make it to page 2...maybe it should be 3 or 4 pages. also, anything with petcat in it.
It would have to be much more than 2 pages. Atleast 3 or 4.
I donno... This whole idea seems not so great anymore. Too much work involved AND sometimes people like to revive old threads from the dead and start posting in them again...
The threads don't dissapear when you keep using them. I think it would actually be cool to keep classics around, and leave the convo open. Just put 'em in their own sub-forum to deem them 'classic'.
Haha, Yeah I dig the Big Bang one .. but now that it's been brought back into sight, I'd hate to see it be locked away.. that discussion could go on forever.
