I propose a "Misdirected Hostility" forum.

Jordan's Awesome Universe isn't cutting it.

Nasty threads can be moved into a misdirected hostility forum, and the arguments can continue there. It will cleanse the general area of TB from bullshit arguments.

INReview.com (as I've mentioned before) is a very peaceful and welcoming place. But there's an entire forum with hundreds of threads where out of place arguments as old as 3 years can quietly remain. Those arguments have no place in the general area.

It works.

I suggest a trial run. Select a few people as mod's who's only responsibility is moving tainted threads into the misdirected hostility forum.

We don't need to lose any more members over this.

A few other forums I'm on have a "Flame war" forum...this would be along the same idea and it works fine for those

Yeah, INReview's is called "The Flamer's Ward" and it's really really helpful to keep the rest of the place comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. People venture into the flamers ward sometimes and have debates... it's probably the most useful forum there.
