So I was at this hole-in-the-ground bar last night to see my friend's cousin's band play... I'm not a huge fan of their music, but I do really dig a couple of their songs. After their set the next band went up there and set up a lot of shit.
They have 2 reggae style drum sets, a regular drummer, two guitarists, a bass player, a keyboard player, and some extra shit like shakers and stuff.
6 people in the band, 2 of which play two instruments in every fucking song.
4 singers.
The guitar players and bass player played musical guitars to prove how diverse they were. They switched it up every two or three songs. And nailed every single one of them.
The "lead" singer had the same voice as Brad from sublime, but he did this smooth rasta flow in every song, occasionally breaking it down Hexum stylee, getting up off his keyboard and towering over the stage.
I'm dissapointed I had to leave before I figured out who they were. We had other obligations. I'm goingto try to figure it out and get a hold of some of their music. It was insane.
