For those that don't like Flac files...

Talk about your fave band or genres. Or plug your own band, whatever.

For those that don't like Flac files...

Post by Alexnova »

I know I heard that flac files only work in a few programs or something?

So I was looking through my Itunes today, and I wanted to burn some CD's on it.

And so I checked if I could enocde the CD differently. And I had the option of choosing "Apple lossless", and damn the quality is fucking amazing.

Granted it takes up alot of megabytes. But wow, perfect CD quality and it translates it into .m4a files

yah its just apples format of a lossless media file. I like flac because you can burn a perfect copy of a cd with .flac files and a .cue file with EAC. Also if you have Nero as your cd burning program you can just burn flac files to an audio cd without any conversions. You just need Nero 6.0 or higher.

Yeah but with Apple's Loseless, you can just burn a CD right off iTunes in any speed and what not.

But it just takes up so much space. I have one song that is like 100 MB+ .

Not many people seem to know or even be aware of apple lossless.
