While Northern Songs and Urban Hymns are brilliant, The Verve's "A Storm in Heaven" is my favorite because sonically and musically its amazing. Love the psychadelic on the album, and the opening guitar on "Star Sail" gives me chills every time.
Oasis "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?" is much better than its predecessor "Defiently Maybe" because of the gorgeous ballads used in it. And Noel Gallagher shines on this album as a vocalist, and is alot more skillful than the previous one. Alot of it has The Beatles in it, like the tribute "Wonderwall" but its still has Oasis own sound.
Buy both these albums, or do whatever it takes to get them.
