I Love Penny CD's!!!!!!

Post by rchrhds29 »

Was just dicking around on Amazon and was looking for penny albums, cause I am pretty broke right now, and found a ton of good stuff. Figured I'd share what I bought, as a lot of these albums some of you may want and you can't beat a CD for a penny, well it's $3 total with shipping but still that is super cheap

My Order:
Pearl Jam: 'Ten'
Guns n' Roses: Use Your Illusion I
White Zombie: Supersexy Swingin' Sounds
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones: Pay Attention
Zack Hexum: Story So Far
Squirtgun: Another Sunny Afternoon
The Smugglers: Selling the Sizzle
Lookout Freakout Volume 2 (compilation album featuring various bands from pop punk record label Lookout Records)
Last Great Thing You Did (another Lookout Records compilation)
The Wallflowers: Bringing Down the Horse
Some songs to download:
Sunny Day Real Estate "Seven": http://zvukoff.ru/song/1401823
Reel Big Fish "Suckers": http://zvukoff.ru/song/1019787
Justin Sane "Cassette Deck, Road Trip, Grand Canyon": http://zvukoff.ru/song/1218433
Chixdiggit! "I Remember You": http://zvukoff.ru/song/1089295 (Pop Punk)
Common Rider "Classics of Love": http://zvukoff.ru/song/1086159 (Pop Punk)

If you're so broke, maybe you should spend less time dicking around on Amazon, and get a fuckin job.

Also, learn how to use torrents. This isn't 1998 anymore.

I just finished my Master's in May and start PhD studies in August, and as I knew I wanted to get a doctorate I just work part time and am a full time student, and I work mainly on nights on the weekends, so with no school and no work I am kind of bored during the day, usually spend the day applying for better part time jobs on http://www.idealist.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, reading, writing, and surfing the net.

And yeah I don't know how to use torrents, but it honestly doesn't matter at all. At least half of what I ordered is just not out there to download, try and find anything by 'The Smugglers' you won't come up with one song, 'Squirtgun' is much the same the only song of their's that is out there is 'Social'.

also. Amazon Prime? Hello? If you are a student with an ".edu" address you get it for free. Which in the world of amazon means free shipping 90% of the time.

logosteel: Thanks for the tip a ton!! I just signed up for Amazon Prime Student for free. Unfortunately, in all actuality it often won't save me money, as the free shipping is only when you buy from Amazon or retailers that have their orders fulfilled by Amazon, and for example, a CD that cost 1 cent from an independent store on Amazon and $2.99 shipping will cost $3.00, while the Amazon fulfilled or directly through Amazon CD will be free shipping on things that cost 1 cent from independent stores usually cost $2.90 this way, so you save like 10 cents lol. However, the big advantage to it is the 2 day shipping benefit, so I'll be getting my stuff a lot faster!! So thanks man.

I think it's worth saying that Zack Hexum's work with Overground is pretty decent. I like it a bit more than his solo work, but that isn't too shabby either.
