Looking To Trade My CDs:Radiohead,REM,311,Offspring,& More!!

Post by rchrhds29 »

I am looking to get some new cd's and since I am very cash poor right now, I decided to offer to trade my cd's with people here on this forum for their's. Below is the list of what I have for trade and cd's that I want.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT HAVE THE CASES FOR ANY OF THESE CD'S BESIDES 311: Uplifter Deluxe Edition. HOWEVER, ALL OF MY CD'S ARE IN GREAT CONDITION AND PLAY PERFECTLY, BESIDES RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE: LIVE & RARE (WHICH I NOTE THE CONDITION OF IT BELOW).

What I Have For Trade:
311: Uplifter Deluxe Edition (I ordered this just for the DVD and don't want the CD, so you will not be getting the DVD or the sticker, however, the CD has never been played ever)

The Offspring: Smash

The Offspring: Americana

The Lillingtons: Death by Television (fantastic pop punk band, sound a lot like The Ramones)

Radiohead: Live Recordings (I Might Be Wrong)

Radiohead: The Bends

Radiohead: Hail to the Thief

Whatever It Takes: A Fistful of Revolution (this is "#2" from Anti-Flag band before he joined A-F)

Avail: Dixie (Avail is the absolute best "southern punk" band and 'Dixie' is their best album, imagine Skynnrd and Black Flag being one band, that is what Avail sounds like)

The Hi-Fives:...and A Whole Lotta You (outstanding pop punk band, features their cover of 'Tainted Love')

R.E.M: Out of Time

R.E.M: Eponymous

Anti-Flag: The Terror State

Anti-Flag: Mobilize (the epic release that came out that the band rushed to release immediately following 9/11, however, the song's sound anything but rushed, this album includes such powerful songs as: "911 for Peace", "Right to Choose", and "Anatomy of Your Enemy" (a spoken word track by lead singer Justin Sane)

Anti-Flag: For Blood and Empire

The Suicide Machines: Battle Hymns

Alkaline Trio: Alkaline Trio (possibly the Trio's best work, includes great tracks like: "Goodbye Forever", "This Is Getting Over You", "I Lied My Face Off", and "My Friend Peter")

Nirvana: Live at Reading

Lynyrd Skynyrd: The Essential CD1 (this was a two cd set, but I only have CD1, but this is the one that has: "Sweet Home Alabama", "Freebird", "Gimme Three Steps", "The Ballad of Curtis Lowe", and "Simple Man")

The Amps: Pacer (This is a pretty damn rare album. The Amps were the band that Kim Deal of 'The Pixies' started after 'The Pixies' but before she joined up with sister Kelly Deal to start The Breeders.)

Sunny Day Real Estate: How It Feels To Be Something On (SDRE were the king's of emo, and this is their best album)

Sunny Day Real Estate: LP2 (also known as "The Pink Album")

Gang of Four: 100 Flowers Bloom CD1 & CD2 (Gang of Four was one of the original punk bands from the 70s and in my opinion are insanely underrated, I think they are WAY better than The Ramones or The Sex Pistols, but not as good as The Clash. 100 Flowers Bloom is their greatest hits dual disc set, and I will not break up this set so if you want it you will have to have two cd's I want.)

I also have "Live and Rare" by Rage Against the Machine, but it has a pretty big scratch on it and only tracks 1 - 8 play, but if you still want it I have it.

Albums I Want:
AC / DC: Highway to Hell, 74 Jailbreak, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

Against All Authority (any of their albums)

Alkaline Trio: This Addiction

Big D and the Kids Table (any of their albums)

Cherry Poppin' Daddies: Skaboy JFK or Zoot Suit Riot

Chixdiggit! Safeways Here We Come EP

Dropkick Murphys (I have 'Sing Loud, Sing Proud' so want anything else)

Foo Fighters: Foo Fighters

Goldfinger: Hello Destiny

Guns n Roses (anything besides 'Chinese Democracy)

Michael Jackson (Off the Wall)

Oasis: Be Here Now or Lyla

Pansy Division: Absurd Love Song Romance

Pearl Jam: Ten

Rancid: And Out Come the Wolves

Reel Big Fish: Cheer Up

Rob Zombie: Hellbilly Deluxe II or Educated Horses

Sublime with Rome: Yours Truly

Suburban Rhythm: Suburban Rhythm

The Breeders: Title TK

The Clash: Combat Rock or London Calling

The Dandy Warhols: Earth to the Dandy Warhols, The Black Album, or Dandy's Rule OK?

The Donnas: Get Skintight

The Lillingtons: Shit Out of Luck

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones: Let's Face It or Question the Answers

The Offspring (I have 'Smash', 'Americana', and 'Ignition' so I want anything else)

The Presidents of the United States of America: I

The Suicide Machines: Steal this Record

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Wildflowers, Full Moon Fever, or Into the Great Wide Open

You should have a pretty good idea of my taste in music based on the list of what I own and what I want, so if you want one of my albums but don't own something on my want list but have an album by a band you think I will like than please privately message me with the name of the band and the album and tell me a little about them or compare them to a band I've likely heard of.

PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS THREAD PUBLICLY WITH TRADE REQUESTS! PLEASE INSTEAD PRIVATELY MESSAGE ME WITH THE ALBUM THAT YOU WANT AND THE ALBUM THAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER. ALSO, I WILL ONLY BE TRADING WITH PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, ONLY.

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you

logosteel: A lot of the more mainstream stuff, Tom Petty, AC/DC, and Oasis, are easy to find online, but stuff like that Chixdiggit! EP is basically impossible to find, so I am looking for physical trades yeah, and also hoping to be turned on to some bands I didn't know of before.

fatlip: Thanks, but I have never been able to figure out torrents.

fatlip, well all:
I am not a troll or an alt, although I don't know exactly what an alt is.

However, I don't have a Facebook account, a MySpace account, or an account with any social networking site at all. I have zero pictures of myself on the web and have no writings, under my own name, on the web. As I stated before I have worked for several organizations in the political arena and more importantly plan on running for public office someday, so I am being safe and leaving no footprints or handprints.

I do, however, have my email open for any member of the forum to email me, so if you want to or anyone else wants to feel free to please. Also, in nearly all my jobs in politics I have worked as a researcher, so I know first hand what kind of information can be found on someone and how to find it so I have attempted to shield myself from that.

This may sound paranoia, but I kind of have to be, I'm not from a rich family at all, though not poor, and am looking towards a career in academia, so will never be super rich myself. Moreover, as a devotee of third parties / Independents that is what I will run as, and thus will not have the massive funds backing me that the Democrats and Republicans have and will likely largely have to self fund my campaign, so I can't do anything to hurt myself.

If you want to trade a CD that would be a good way to see I'm not a troll, you could just email me, otherwise I guess you will just have to believe me.
Peace
