I want to know also, how long did it take you to compile your list? Do you have this list always prepared, updated when you discover new favorites? Or did it take you two hours to walk through your library and pick out favorites, then pare it down to 25? It would take me a while.

Mine was off the top of my head but there wasn't much contest. They move around on the list, but it's what I'm the most comfortable with right now.

JJ release over Christmas last year, I think it was No3 but I remember not caring for it as much as 2. Two was just so surprising. Africa to Malaga is so fantastic and smooth.

These top 25 I pulled from my head pretty easily since I listen to these records so much.

If I was to add to it or rearrange things I'd include the following

7. Aquemini - Outkast
8. Out of Time - R.E.M
9. Show - The Cure
10. 40oz - Sublime

20. Linkin Park

25. Miley cyrus

actually this is silly. I don't really have a favorite 25 albums in this day and age of mp3s. And really some of the artists I have listed I would fill up the 25 albums on like 5 bands. I also change my favorites depending on my mood. So for those interested I suppose my list will give an idea to my tastes. I also can't remember album titles for the fucking life of me.

Looking at your list again Element, where the fuck are the black artists? I mean no Al Green or Aretha Franklin? I'm not going to ask where Kanye West or Public Enemy is at. I do need, how do I say this nicely, to broaden the ethnic diversity of your tastes.

i think the only explanation is that i'm racist.

i like old black people music but the albums aren't as good as these albums, and i listen to pet sounds every once and awhile and it still blows my mind
