first impression listen.

bloom - 6.5 interesting song, i really don't like phils drumming. annoying in the beginning, some cool horns and shit in the middle then some REALLLLLY annoying sounds at the very end.
morning mr magpie - 5.6 boring drumming and riffs. i hate the fidgety sound of this album so far.
little by little - 8.1 sounds a lot like the first two songs, but this one grooves. can't understand a word thom is saying.
feral - 3.0 pretty good beat, but i hate this sort of shit.
lotus flower - 9.4 they found their pace on this one.
codex - 7.5 pretty song. i love french horns. this album has got a lot of instruments on it.
give up the ghost - 7.8 another pretty one. thom has the voice of an angel. annoying backwards feedback or some shit at the end though.
separator - 9.9 love everything about this song.

this album has a lot of sounds and it's probably going to grow on me, separator is really the only song i can see myself loving from it though.

Amen to all of the above comments. Separator is the shit. Overall I think it's a really disappointing album and a bit too boring.

Personally, In Rainbows was their first album that I really loved (which I'm sure in your mind makes me lose all credibility), so to me this is like their sophomore album and I'm sad to see it not impress me. Not that I don't appreciate the old stuff, but this is the first Radiohead album I really actually looked forward to hearing and got excited about. ah well..
