what headphones/speakers do you rock
for my surround sound system, i have a set of klipsch gmx 5.1. i couldnt imagine playing video games or watching blu-rays without this thing.
for computer speakers i have jbl creature II 2.1. the speakers may look small, but these things thump.
for headphones im about to buy the gradio sr80i. if you're looking for a good pair of headphones, get this, or the sr60i's, they are amazing.

i cant wait to have a propper surround sound system. the one i have is meant for computers, but it works fine for my tv and ps3. when i get my own house and such its gonna be fun to set that up.
kyle, are your headphones 5.1? it doesnt seem like they would be, but you said you use it for gaming so just curious.

no i use them for that purpose, that they're not. i find it easier to hear people's footsteps when playing online. and for another reason, i live in an apartment and want to have it loud. the only problem is when i want to use a headset that fucks it up. however, i basically just plaly MW2 and nobody talks teamwork on there anyways

I actually grow a mustache like that when I listen to music on them too.

Jordan, the guy in your headphone pic actually resembles you, maybe if your head was wider.
I wear these at home when I'm doing something loud on the computer and don't want to bother people:
And these at work all day:
I also use those creature speakers at home (that ones that slmjimy311 posted). They make great sound.

i cant do those big ass headphones like you guys posted. only problem i have with my grados are that they leak sound. but i dont listen to my music stupid loud anyway so its not really too big of an issue

Re: what headphones/speakers do you rock
The leaking of the sound is supposed to make them sound better in some way, or so I've read on the internet. They're called "open" headphones as opposed to "closed" like the ones KyleRayner and fatlip posted.

Re: what headphones/speakers do you rock
Glad to see another Sennheiser fan on this board. I just ordered the 595s, I had the HD 280s for a long time...a great deal at the price (I paid 80 bucks)
Re: what headphones/speakers do you rock
mine are open, alex. dunno what yr talkin bout =P the DJ ones are open earred
and open ones sound better because theres somewhere for the air to go when the wave rarefaction hits and the speaker and it pushes outwards =D

"Our favorite brand of "Open" headphones for years has been the Grado's."
good to hear since i just bought those. they're already in my city, i just have to wait till friday now. on a side note, fuck ups for letting my shit sit in the city thats an hour away for 12 hours before taking them to my town on a friday, and then not delivering on the weekends. i know its selfish, but grrrr
