Fuck modern Def Jux and Rhymesayers.

All that shit is forgettable.

Those are labels for white people who want to like hip hop. The heads will point to one direction (or the leader of that movement): J DILLA. (When it comes to simply suggesting hip hop.)

New Del, yes. Aesop, (hell) yes. Lif, not as much, but he can't carry a label on his own.

And yes, I am forgettable.

i hate people like you. hip hops lyrics content is like poetry (the good stuff at least). it has so many great metaphors, double/triple/quadrupal (thats the most i've seen) entendres. its writing style is fantastic, and that a lot of them can come up with those lyrics on a whim, on command...is just fantastic.

All that being said I still have no use for the genre as a whole. Maybe it's because I am more into instruments than lyrics. I just haven't heard anything that I haven't heard before in a long time. Admittedly, I haven't really tried though.

Proof of your ignorance.

Proof of your overall ridiculousness. Are you serious or simply ignorantly pseudo superior?

Proof of your willingness to continue being boring.

And I used to care about what you said. C'mon Luke.

Proof of my ignorance? Nah it's just that with a two year old, a mortgage and a fast paced job I don't have time to go on a musical journey through every genre like you. You are a musical poser to the nth degree my friend. You puss out when you get into a conversation about music that you can't handle and start insulting people for their taste. Which pretty much goes against what music is all about anyway. People have different opinions and taste in music. I suggest you grow out of your immaturity and arrogance instead of sticking your nose up at people that don't share your affinity for all things underground. Honestly, you will be way better off as a human being.

In summary you are an asshole and I don't like you.
