LoFi "Theft Supreme"

Post by veritech »

My friend made this album some years ago. He went by the name LoFi and the album was titled "Theft Supreme" The reason he went by LoFi is because of the way he mixed the tracks. He used CakeWalk I believe and to take the vocals out he just took down the mids until the vocals were gone. The album name "Theft Supreme" is because he downloaded every track he used. So here it is.

I'm really not surprised. My friend isn't really the most trustworthy person I know.

I confronted him about it today and he was like "Meh, it was a good run though." He told me he never really wanted it to get out but I kinda made people copies behind his back and gave them to all our friends, so yeah. Two of the tracks however are his. I believe it Girls Jump and Whats This Name For. The two tracks that are the worst. He first gave me the CD in 2005 so I commended him on how long the hoax ran for. If you like mashups also check out Girl Talk, Ludachrist and my friend B-Sizzle he hsa a studio mix somewhere on the net. When I remember the link I'll post it up.

The link for B-Sizzle is http://www.myspace.com/beatsizzle

The links for his free downloads are in his About section. Check out Studio Mix Vol. 1. He does some pretty cool electronic music. He has a remix of Thriller that's pretty bad ass.
