I give Mae a 9.0 Their music is absolutely fantastic. They are also huge around this area in Tidewater VA.

Yes, they are huge in VA because that is where they are all from.

The Gf got me into them. I hated them at first but now i love them.
Ive seen them 5 times so far.
There shows arnt anything like 311. Im kinda glad i get to stand and listen to everyting with out worring about mosh pits, crowd surfers landing on me, or douche bag tools.
Just me and the music.

Destination Beautiful: Summertime and Embers are my fav
EverGLow: The whole album is perfect.
Singularity: heavier album, crazy 8's is my fav
(M)orning ep: again just like the everglow this whol album flows like one song.

They continue to blow my mind every album.

Dude, spot on about everglow. You will be hardpressed to find a band willing to focus that much energy on making the album a fun experience for the listener. I love everything about it. I think the song "Anything" is really powerfull, love the bells.

P.S.
I went to high school with Dave Jimenez. I know they claim to hail from Norfolk but it's basically dudes from allover tidewater with some turnover I might add.
