I'm surprised there is not more feedback about this album. I personaly could not wait to hear it! What does everyone think....is there many deftones fans here on TB??

i agree...I love it, love it, love it. Cannot stress that. xerces is the shit, great song for sure. I hope i can catch them live...Haven't seen them live since around the fur days

yeah dude, go see them. I got to see them over the summer with korn in atlanta and it was great. they are coming to the HOB in myrtle beach in november and I'm going to try and catch that as well.......DEFTONES!!

no, i don't think so. as a matter of fact i think i would recommend any of their albums accept this one as a first time listener. White Pony is awesome! Go with that first!

i'd recommend "Around the Fur" and "White Pony" if someone is really looking to get into the Deftones for the first time. Then go back and check out "Adrenaline", then jump forward to the S/T album. that should probably put ya on the right track and give ya a good idea of what the Deftones are like.

i dont know it depends on what you are in to. for me Adrenaline is their best, but thats probably because it takes me back to 1996 when I saw them open for 311, then saw them in a room of 200 people. I was 14, being littler back then we would crowd surf then get dumped on stage. be rocking out on stage with the deftones for a few seconds then stage dove into the crowd. only to crowd surf a little bit and get dumped back on stage and do it all over again.

best heavy music to listen to high. they layer the vocals and guitars so nicely
