Do you mean the one inside the shell station? or further down near MSY or any of the other 4 between lakeshore mall and the aforementioned near the airport.

There is a church's chicken in the heart of the lower 9th, its like dinner theater... national guard parked on the median outside, blunt smoking on the sidewalk, a bulletproof plate glass window between you and the staff and my favorite, "what the fuck is there a white person doing in here, they must be lost tourists" surprise looks.

On a serious note however, any one who has never been, needs to go to raisin canes, best fuckin chicken fingers, and the canes sauce, damn so good. Also march is prime crawfish season, find someplace that is boiling, a good find will be off the beaten path.Crystal burger at bourbon and canal is a sure hangover cure. Anyone needing a bathroom throughout the night will have a tough time finding one, but i suggest using the marriot or any of the other fancy canal st hotel lobby restrooms as a certain way to empty your alcohol filled bladder. A good choice for cheap food and drink is Lucy's on Tchoupitoulas its got a good vibe and good selections http://www.lucysretiredsurfers.com/NewO ... efault.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Forsaken depraved and wrought with fear

The Crystal Burger is nice but, somewhat freaky at night, especially when you go to the up-stairs eating area.

If you have time, hit up Stingray's in Kenner. It's a bit down West Esplanade Avenue right by the Esplanade Mall, but it is tight as shit.
the only thing true, we gotta love each other. try to keep a positive vibe.
they make it tough for ya. you're cut off and lonely while you hustle for dough.
we can overcome the wrongs while we're reachin' the point.
stick together all forever. now continue to flow
