Everyone gonnab e on the floor?

Post by TaiyedBorders »

I was curious if yall thought the floor will be packed. I would like to be on the floor, but I hope its possible to go and sit and lean against the wall if I get light headed. (but im sure i'll probably be having too much fun to sit)

We got there at 8 and didn't have any competition for places in line until about 11. I've never been to NO but the venue in Memphis had a great view from the seats, despite being hassled by security. "You need to stop smoking yo weeeed." Shit could, and probably will be different this year.

I couldn't imagine wanting to line up anytime before noon for a concert. I've never had the urge to want to be on the rail and be completely crushed for a regular concert, let alone a five hour one. Last year in the pit we got to the 2nd and 3rd row of people on the floor right in front of Tim and it was perfect. That works well for me.

I'll be buying my pit tickets during the pre-sale for sure.

I just emailed joan about it - here is her response :

"correct. there are no floor wristbands. if you buy a floor ticket, you are on the floor."

I don't understand the appeal of club seats.

Its wierd to me to say the "New Orleans Hornets Arena" - I grew up in Charlotte when they were originally, the Charlotte Hornets.

Im really debating getting floor tickets. Ive been on the floor for the last 2 311 days and had a great time. But after this summers tour...with the constant shoving and fights, Im starting to lean towards the club seats. I know, with it being 311 day there will be less douchebags, but Im getting sick of not enjoying the show as much because half of the time I am worrying about where the crowd is pushing too next. I know its kind of the atmosphere of a 311 show for the crowd to be moving together(one organism) but it has gotten a lot worse over the past couple summer tours where it seems that there are a lot of new 311 fans. I love being close to the stage on the floor but I may hang in the back or try and get decent seats.

You can enjoy yourself on the floor, just dont so close to the front.
