im not saying it isnt fun once in a while, but staying there is a little over priced as well. who ever booked the queen and the crescent good choice, its about 2 blocks from canal st, its the hotel where i celebrated my 21st. And whoever booked the royal st charles, this is also another nice hotel not too pricey either. look out they are gonna take on a $15 or so "resort fee" onto your quoted rate, but its worth it.

Yeah, I heard Bourbon can be pretty sometimes. Thats why I had no problems staying in the same area, just off of the main road. I'm still in great walking distance to both, and I don't really need a balcony room since it's not Mardi Gras and I imagine we'll all be out at the bar most of the time anyways.
