I have been to quite a few shows, and they are kinda difficult to remember for me. The things that stick out are mess ups or wierd things that happen. Like at the Birmingham 2003 show, AAF came out and covered SA in silly string, while he was rapping his verse during fuck the bullshit(it was his B-Day). Or at the House of Blues show in 2005 at Myrtle Beach Nick was singing a verse of Sever over the monitor grabbing everyone while he was singing... Atlanta 2006 when Nicks guitar failed during Rub a dub and he told everyone to sing for a sec.... I also notice Chad is throwing his drum sticks up alot more now, not just at the end of Creatures... Or in Pensacola in 2005 some kid threw joints on stage and security ran on stage and grabbed them and got in pnuts way, and pnut had to stop jump-dancing because the security guard bags of vinegar were in his way. At that same show I remember watching Chad drop one of his sticks and he played the beginning of amber with one hand for a few beats..... Ive seen SA's mic fail plenty of times too

I remember at our hotel, we had a Denny's attached to it, and some local kid came and was sitting outside on the patio with us waiting for his friend to get off work. He was probably like 19. Anyways, he had to wait a couple hours or so, and so he ended up drinking with all of us. Everytime a bum would come by looking for change/beer/cigarettes this dude would get up after them and make them leave. It was absolutely hilarious. He ended up hanging out for quite some time... did some freestyling, which wasn't bad at all, and we got him to listen to some 311 as well.

Oh yeah.....Yes there were lots of black people. Especially when we were first rolling into memphis, we must have come through the bad area of town. And I thought Montgomery had some bad areas...

Best 311 show I've ever been to! 311day 2006 was one of the best weekends of my life. Please 311, come back to Memphis for 311day 2018.

hahahahah nice. classic story of white boy leaves his suburban town he grew up in and goes to memphis for a few days, gets culture shock.

I think I was actually just thinking that memphis was suuuuper poor and ghetto in a lot of places actually.

I finally visited Memphis. It's not such a bad place. Like most major cities covid fucked it over. Felt pretty desolate at times. I mean, there's a fucking major bridge that closed due to a crack in the foundation. I still think Chili's has the best ribs. Later.
