memphis attractions

i know alot of you are only going to be in memphis for 3/11 day but my crew will be there thurs. thru mon. so we are tryin to find things to do other than the fan party, and the show... graceland, and sun studio are a couple we talked about. being the bball fan i am, the conference usa tourney is goin on wed-sun. and there is a grizzlies game on sunday as well....anybody else going to do anything non-311 related in memphis?

nah I dont have time, and I was there over Christmas...bring some cash those tours aint as cheap as you would think.

Friday planning on walking around Beale before the fan party checking out the shops there. Sunday/Monday going to Graceland, the Zoo, Sun Studios and the Rock & Soul Museum. Hoping to also make a stop in the Gibson guitar factory too.

i went to graceland last summer and it was pretty neat to check out, but the tour is self guided for the most party, with a headset, so it can go either as fast or as slow as you want it to. i thought it was kinda sweet to asctually be in elvis' house and crap!

well we are getting in Friday night and leaving Sunday so Ill probally only have time to do some shopping on Beale Street, and of course partying before and after the show =)

My aunt lives next door to one of the Grizzlies' assistant coaches, so she was nice enough to give me the hook up on a couple of tickets for Sunday's game. I'm pumped.

i was thinking about doing a little mississippi, arkansas, tenn drive.. not often you get so close to 2 other states.

you can see arkansas is as close as you can get to Memphis its just across the river....you arnt missing much there. I dont know about Mississippi though.
