Ok....fan party. I am buying tickets for sure. I went in 04. Yes, a bunch of kids (I'm 27) but all in all a great time. I mean c'mon......hella drunk, all 311 music, all 311 fans. You can't help but have fun at these things......BUT, and this is a BIG BUT.....
An ASS of people sat outside for FUCKING EVER, wasting time, not having fun, watching other fucking people cut line, and get let in in front of them. It fucking sucked! Once I got in it was a great time, but they have to do something about the door managment. I place the blame squarley on 311 management. I love 311 and I think that Adam and Peter do a great job, but this was a fuck up! I talked to Peter about it via IM and i got a sarcastic "yes, we are aware of the problem". I can only hope this means it will not be an issue this year. Yeah Memphis! Yeah 311 Day! Rock on!!

311 management didn't set up the fan party, FANS set up the fan party. Once again fans set up this years fan party, according to them the waiting in line was because of the club. The people working at the door at the club only allowed one line that were people who already paid and people who were just walking up even though what was agreed upon was there were going to be two lines to avoid that problem. This year they are only accepting people with tickets in the venue.tred311 wrote:Ok....fan party. I am buying tickets for sure. I went in 04.
