Cameras at 311 Day?

Post by 311electricity »

So I have a little digital camera that fits in my pocket...But I was wondering if anyone thinks they will have metal detectors at the gate? At the Baton Rouge show they had people with little metal detectors. I just don't want to bring my camera and them take it away or have to get out of line or something like that. Any thoughts?

the security at this arena usually use hand-held metal detectors. but before they scan you, they'll ask you to empty out your pockets but instead of handing them whatever is in your pocket, you just have to hold it in your hand. but that was over 2 years ago at the last show I went to there. but if they still do that, just make sure that your camera is small enough to hold in your hand for them to not notice what it is and you should be safe.

ya know, they really should allow cameras for a show like this. I mean, people are traveling a long way for this event. For a lot of people it will probably be there vacation. It would be nice to have pictures to remember it by. Maybe this will do it for the fans.......a 311 Day DVD 2006?

come to think about it... when 311 played in memphis back in august, the venue first said that there are no cameras allowed. but on the day of the show, there was a big sign out front saying that cameras were ok. this time, I'm taking a camera just in case.
