HOLIDAY INN airport!....But they have a van that will take me downtownish!

is the redroof inn downtown close to beale street? looking at maps it's just east a few blocks from where the street appears to end. i'm just a dumb omahan who knows nothing of big cities

It's about a mile and a half away according to http://www.bealestreethotels.com

I'm lookin at that one too, seems pretty decent, good location, fairly good rate.
