on the one is referring to funk. In Funk music the stress is on the first beat.

damnit i just found that out today too! we were reading a funk chart for bball band and the prof said on the one...and i was like holy shit...ray!

after seeing how many people it looks like really are going to 311 day, it might be a neat thing to have shirts for the board...put your member name on the back or somethin so people know who's who.

we can do this a few different ways.

We can get a design together, and I can give the file out, and they anyone who wants to order a shirt can go to cafe press and get one made for as cheap as $10 -

or

i can make a design and put it in my "shop" where people will order it from there. in which case i get come kind of a cut from the sales.. i wouldnt imagine its much - but having a store might make it easier for people who just want to order a shirt and not upload the design.

im good either way. - the sooner the better in terms of getting our shirts in time.

I will make a post in a day or two with some designs to vote on. anyone who wants to design something should post it for people to vote. then once we have a design, we can choose the best way to distribute it.

cafe press is really cheap and easy.

it would be fitting for us to have the dopest 311 shirts at the show.. and i think we can do it no problem.. i will check on the "shop" set up once we have a design picked.. becase if its really sick.. i wouldnt mind people from the show buying one online and paying me to be mean to nick

Dude, I was standing right by you after the show by the buses in Champaign back in November at UOI. We didn't chat or anything, but I remember you.

hell ya....i was there...i think i remember ya man....i was fuckin talkin a lot...too excited. i was the only one out there when they all came out and got on their busses...it was weird...everyone came out after they were already on the bus....
