i was acutally going to get more than 6 -- i got the room so why not? -- 12g is only 1 step bigger than 14g.. but i wanna put 10g in soon. (btw 14g is standard for piercings, except eyebrow/female genital/nose/etc, which is 16+)

piercing gauging works the same way as wires. so if you've ever seen 0g wire (without the insulation), thats 0g piercing size

I used to know gauges when my friends would gauge their ears in high school but I forgot after not talking about gauges/piercings for a few years

Would you gauge to a 10 from a 12 or get a new one that is a 10? I just remember my friends gauging from like 12 to 10 (they got to a 0 at some point) and it hurting their ears when they would first do it. And why a bigger gauge?
Sorry for all the questions, just curious since I don't know any guy who would pierce his dick, and my friends stuck to facial piercings....well one got her nipple pierced but it migrated because her body tends to reject piercings, same thing happened to her eyebrow piercing.

if you're asking if i use tapers, then no i dont. i have them, and i used them for my ears -- but not for the southern piercings. i just push the other barbells through. i'm probably gunan do everything in one shot

12g's -> 10g's in the ween
8 -> 6 in the mouth
12 -> 10 in the mouth

piercings stretch out after a while, so when i jump only a single gauge, it doesnt really make a difference.. its a bit sore for maybe a day max.. thats about it
