If you give a person a $10 for a soda and they give you change for a $20 and you don't say anything. Thats dishonest, right?

So is it the same if they just charge you less for an item? A guy in a store today charged me $.99 for a soda that has a price tag of 1.99 on it. I didn't say anything.

Am i going to hell?

hell no. I pride myself on being honest, but in that situation I probably woundnt of said anything. You never know maybe .99 was the real price gas stations have little specials all the time.

I found 2 20's....$40 on a bus one time on the way to a baseball game...and i kept...should i have given it to the bus driver?

So the bus driver could keep the money to himself?

He would of said "Hey yeah I'll keep that if someone is missing it"

Or he really could have a lost and found for it, but anyone could claim it.

I guess its just based on pure luck. Maybe God wanted you to find it.

today our waiter at a chinese buffet dropped a 10 dollar bill, obviously one of his tips, i picked it up and gave it back to him.

made me happier about myself for a min.

but yeah i'm still going to hell.

and no, you aren't going to hell, like dave said there's still the profit margin, he wouldn't have sold it to you if he wasn't getting a profit ... like in china town something can start off as twelve and I'll bargain it down to between four and seven .. but i don't feel bad because they are still making a profit, other wise they wouldn't sell it. ...

i dont belive soda's have a 200% markup. so i doubt you simply took away their margin, but you completely destroyed their overhead. that store will be closed the next time you go there. way to go you bastard.

sarcasm is fun sometimes.

highly doubt you'll go to hell, you'd get your ass raped if you did, hell's full of much harder-core people than people who dont bring up retail mistakes

i was at a bar and i paid for a drink with a ten but the bartended gave me change of a twenty, so like, he was paying me to drink! i gavce him a tip but still had like 10 bucks... i figured it was his little way of tipping me

ally you made him short on his till!! oh well it was his fault. Recently i gave this girl a free Monster energy drink cuz i thought i rang it up already...looked at the receipt and it wasnt on there...i gave it to her anyways lol oh well.
