...and sense everyone on here is either a stoner or a nerd, , i asume at least one of you can give me a tip or two. i was ultra bored today so i decided to try to play some metal gear for NES. i realized that it is fucking hard. i tried four times and i only made it past those three dogs once. can someone give me some tips on how to not die? and wheres the first handgun? I dont want to miss it.

Because of you and this post, I started playing this again. It's way harder than any other Metal Gear. What the hell is going on.

I don't know but I do remember the code to Contra for extra lives; up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start. I hear that works on some other games by the same company. The one game that I could never pass was Castlevania even with the game genie which I still have. Now, Castlevania II, I can do it with my eyes closed. 8)

yeah, if the game is made by konami, you can always just do the konami code:

up up down down left right left right b a start.

theres also a good indie rock band by that exact name.

Yeah that game was hard, I'll try and get some info from one of my mates who is a huge Metal Gear fanatic.

Doesn't the konami code do less than shit though? I thought it was just one of those things where it like, made a noise, and that was that.
