I did their interview but how they worded the lossy -> lossless thing was retarded. I was on oink.cd in 2006 and right before it closed.

The drive I have in my computer is great and I use EAC for ripping. I customized the settings per hydrogenaudio. I know the differences between FLAC, VBR, CBR, 320, 256 AAC, etc. I know about the frequency ranges are higher with FLAC at like 22% whatever.

Obviously the MP3 is going to supercede AAC files anyway.

I dunno I figure that site might benefit from the hundreds of CDs I have in my collection, I have some rare fucking shit that you would have to hunk over serious dough on eBay to purchase, in fact a few of my CDs you will not find on eBay.

My internet speeds right now are 500/150 with FiOS, so I am sure keeping my rig running daily while seeding will be a boon.

It's either use this private tracker or I go back on usenet.

Frankly when oink.cd closed I got mad paranoia the owner was going to leak out all the info of who was downloading, so I definitely scaled back my downloading habits.

I love spotify - Couldn't live without it. The only time I use what.cd is for more obscure stuff that isn't on there, or if I want a leak and obviously you're not going to find leaks on spotify.

It's too readily available these days in cheap and legal ways.

why would you google search if you had access to a well organized website that you know has quality uploads and high standards for what they allow to be put on there. Not to mention different options for different audio quality, depending on what you prefer.

Usually provides a 320 and flac option. Great selection with a rather wide variety of music. They provide the leak right away and update the quality as it gets better.
