The last album was the first time I torrented any of their stuff. I felt bad, but it was shit. I'm really hoping it's good.GOAT wrote:I'm still gonna buy evolution.they say they are going back to their roots.

Re: JORDAN
Only in Amerika was pretty disappointing to me. It just seemed like they were trying too hard to be edgy on that album. Back 2 Base X was an incredible album though. Probably my 2nd favorite of all time.logosteel wrote:Agree but OIA and B2BX were decent. This was right before they did all the dumb facepaint ICP wannabe faggotry. But after they started getting all thrash-punky bullshit. I missed their golden age of self titled and broke

Blackout was really good too.
In order of favorites for me:
1) self-titled
2) Back 2 Base X
3) Blackout
4) Broke
Only in Amerika and Insomnia are listenable but not worthy of being put in the list. Everything else can suck a fat dick.

Re: JORDAN
The only songs they played I recognized were blackout, bartender, killing time, swan dive, and get up stand up (marley cover). The rest were good but I'm kinda a nub. They did some pretty cool extended jams too. And I was disappointed their dj wasn't there but still good as a 4-piece. The crowd sucked though because half left after smile empty soul played.

Re: JORDAN
I travel back to the first Gorillaz album whenever I hear the melodica. It's all I can think about.

Re: JORDAN
I listened to a bit of it the other day. Was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as crap as the last few. I may listen again at some point.
