Finally bought a Wii U

Post by Jordan311 »

I drunkenly bought a Wii U last night. I haven't opened it yet in case I wanted to return it.. But I got the Wind Waker HD special edition one:

I figured I was gonna buy one someday anyway so why not get the special edition Zelda one..

Any recommendations for games? does anyone have a Wii U here?

I honestly don't know one person who has purchased a Wii U.

Not saying I like or dislike it, just saying.

We got one from my in-laws last year. Zombie U is ok, but pretty tough. New super mario U is awesome, and nintendoland is mildly entertaining. Going to pick up Luigi U and wind waker eventually, just never get around to play it that often and there's next to no library, even a year later :(

My girl and I broke up for like a week and the only thing I could think about was being able to get a ps4 without being bitched at. We got back together and that dream died. I knew I should have preorderd one behind her back.

I have a Wii U. Def a few good games and some even better ones on the horizon. Personally, I enjoyed Zombi U, Super Mario Bros U, and the third party games the best. The games I would HIGHLY recommend are actually the indy games from the online store: specifically Trine 2 and Nano Assault. Go check them out, you might be able to dl demos of them to try them first if you'd like but they are both definitely worth it. Mario Kart, Super Mario 3D World, Smash Bros are all coming out by the end of the year. It's not a breakthrough system by any means, Nintendo has finally upgraded to HD which has been available for like 6 years now but it's still fun to play and there's already a few gems.

PS. Whenever they release the Wii U Zelda HD title (towards the end of 2014 most likely), that alone might save the Wii U's shitty sales
