Occupy Wall Street
Can someone explain this bullshit to me. I've been to their website. I get the corporate greed statements, but from what I've seen from the protesters, no one knows exactly what they're protesting. Logistically, it seems like a very well organized protest, but what in gods name are they wanting to happen? Do they want some sort of constitutional amendment? Do they want a salary cap for executives? Do they want a society of socialism? Isn't the idea of a protest to have a clear message of what you want? To me it looks like protesting just to protest. Please enlighten me.

Re: Occupy Wall Street
Protests are always good, i think they are unhappy that Wall Street Banks like Goldman Sachs etc. were bailed out with tax payer money in 2008 yet none of that money has helped a single person in this economy. Why do people think its ok to give money to Big Banks but not ok to help out poor people and those with no jobs... just a thought. not sure.

End corporate personhood and legal bribery (aka lobbying). It's tainted the political system and the process of lawmaking.

I imagine the same was said by people of your ilk about the Boston Tea Party, or the Civil Rights protests, or the 5 million+ student strike in the 70's.cantfademel wrote:If they so much as interfere with the workflow of a single person they need to be dealt with swiftly and severely.
