The whole cold war should not have happened. We could of made peace with Russia after WW2 but instead we wanted to play the tough guy. Also, we knew pearl harbor was coming we had been egging on Japan for years through blocking oil supplies to mainland Japan and ignoring the many warnings from respected generals about the Japanese movements in the pacific. We allowed it to happen because we knew we could blow the shit out of them and create a world empire. I wouldn't be surprised if the United States was responsible for starting every war we've been in since the turn of the 20th century. We know the Gulf of Tonkin, which started the Vietnam war was a false flag incident. We have recently learned that our government encouraged Saddam to gas the kurds before we used that as a reason to bomb Iraq (we've been at war with them for 20 years now). The conspiracies around 9/11 are vast. There's even a theory that we betrayed the Japanese before they bombed us. We're obviously not in Libya to "liberate" anyone. We're fighting along side Al fucking Qaeda over there.
