The Fluoride Deception
The Fluoride Deception
Basically, there's people saying that they've got research backing fluoride being linked to a bunch of modern health problems... that there wasn't ample research done before they started dumping it in our drinking water. It is a toxic chemical... so I could understand it harming the body when ingested, even in small amounts if the period of time is long enough.
The only reason they have for doing it in the first place is the assumption of it preventing cavities... but now they're saying it causes yellow teeth and dental fluorosis.
After all, this started back in an era where cigarettes "weren't bad for you".
Re: The Fluoride Deception
i don't drink tap water, and people always knew smoking cigarettes is bad for you
and it's cracking me up this guy says fluoride like 4 different ways during this, i say FLOORRIDE

Re: The Fluoride Deception
Element, you're more likely to have fluoride in your spring water anyway. I'm not sure how much I buy into this.

Re: The Fluoride Deception
Fluoride's not just in tap water... it's in most bottled water, too. The bottled water does tend to have less fluoride, though, more near the naturally occurring amount (but it's still artificial). Dannon actually put out a new "Fluoride to go" product recently.
Naturally occurring fluoride isn't as bad as artificially created fluoride (what's in the drinking water... often from aluminum waste?) but I don't see much of a need of adding more to water supplies anyways.
Good article with plenty of references: http://www.law.fsu.edu/Journals/landuse ... final2.pdf

oh noes
Re: The Fluoride Deception
I think I'm gonna stop microwaving things also
Seriously... I just made some clam chowder in a microwavable bowl, and I can smell the microwaved metals. EGHH. I'm done with stuff.

all microwaves do is make water molecules vibrate/heat up
there are no effects left on the food because it's only waves, that only affect water.

Re: The Fluoride Deception
naw dude but they fuck up metals and particles and stuff
I mean like when you put a CD in the microwave, that doesn't have to do with water being heated up. it's metal being fucked up. same with aluminum.
and my soup smelled like metal. blegh.

Re: The Fluoride Deception
I mean even if it's just that the metal is heated. I really don't know the physics behind it, but it smelled nasty.
Re: The Fluoride Deception
ohhhh i get it
you're totally not supposed to put metal in your microwave fyi<3

Re: The Fluoride Deception
Metal reflects the electric waves used in microwaves, sometimes this causes metal to melt or burn. That's why it fucks everything up, that's why your soup sucked. Gee, whoda thought

Well it's time to write to Campbell's

and say what ?
