if that is the case, its something that she needs to work out on her own, and no guy can do that/help her with it. if she is constantly deriving her self worth from a guy, what he says, his attention or encouragement (even if it coming from a thoughtful and caring place and i know that is where your intentions are at), then she wont ever figure it out for herself, and thats where it needs to come from for it to be genuine and meaningful. its a good thing for her to get praise and such from you, but you cant force that, its a realization she needs to come to on her own.

they gotta get that fourth slap in. marshall's song with barney back up singing after the third slap is one of the funniest things ever. these past few episodes have been good but when they finally let stella go itll be back to the goodtimes again

Okay, so you know I pick her up and we are driving to the museum and she talks about her bf and says she wants to marry him. I almost hit the fucking brakes. She said that cause I asked her didn't you break up with him in the parking lot recently then got back together?
Anyway got the whole night planned out. I surprise her by taking her to the Denver Nature and Science Musuem, and she loved it. But I found it boring, and shes knows this unfortunately. I should of taken more interest.
I take her to a really classy resturant after. Remember this whole thing was because she wanted to hang out with me. So this resturant sells 30 dollar steaks and what have you, and she got the hint I THINK that I like her.
I mean she started saying stuff like "I wish you can go through life without hurting someone" because we were discussing the bf. And she says "I love him, but I don' know" (something along those lines). I can tell with the awkward silences, and not looking at me in the eye when thinking that obviously she had something in her mind about the both of us.
Dude Snipe, she was questioning if she still wants to be with her BF saying stuff like "I love him but I don't know" "Him being gone for the week has made me think"
Here's the advice my friend gave:
Find out more about her BF
So, slow things down
Get closer to her
Ask her WHY she is uncertain about her BF
As a friend
Discuss these problems with her
