Waffles Free Leach makes me a happy boy *recommend me music*
So I'm just mass downloading off of Waffles.fm right now cuz they have free leach goin on.
I want you guys to recommend me some stuff to listen to. I'll probably just grab anything anyone recommends.
HOWEVER, I'm lookin for specific kinds of music,
Lately I've been listening to a lot of shit like Sigur Ros, Broken Social Scene, Explosions in the Sky, etc etc. so I'm looking for chill indie stuff. progressive rock, post rock, ambient, instrumental, whatever. cool music I can chill to, and stuff I can listen to in the background while I paint and do work and shit.
I'm down for fun stuff like Pepper, slightly stoopid, etc as well.
So yeah any recommendations, just throw em at me.
Thanks

I still have a huge folder of game icons on my computer if I ever get motivated to work on that idea.
I'm currently working on a pretty abstract free association type painting.

I'd recommend checking out Rush then, if you aren't already a fan. They've got a lot of instrumental and melodic songs.
Also, if you're into some melodic metal-ish stuff, I could give you a link to one of my favorite guitarists page. He's not a big name or anything, but he can absolutely shred a guitar, and it's all instrumental... no words.

My buddy just gave me a ton of Rush. It's definitely some good shit.
And a lot of Yes too.
I've been going on http://www.pandora.com and finding a lot of really awesome artists. This one, Saxon Shore, that I'm listening to right now is fucking AMAZING. Like Explosions in the Sky meets Sigur Ros. All instrumental post rock goodness.

They seem to be down right now. I grabbed like 30 albums last night though.
Luke, I'll get that album you recommended as soon as it's back up.
Guys, Waffles is seriously the second coming of OiNK. It already has an incredible selection and its growing really fast. They're adding ebooks, audio books, and comics too.
The only hangup so far I have is the occasional torrent with no seeders. But that's only for really obscure stuff as far as I can tell.

"Black Sea" by XTC
DO IT. Track for track... it's one of the best CDs to come out of the 80's (and no, it isn't cheesy 80's synth).
And you haven't got anything to lose with this free leech!
Give it a spin and then rate it. Trust me, it doesn't disappoint.
