how do/did you explain TaiyedBrodels to you girl/boyfriend/husband/wife?
And byTaiyedBrodels, more specifically, I mean these forums and all of us.
Or are we a secret too nerdy to divulge?
This especially goes out to Station, because I know none of us have seen her on here thats for sure.

I told her you were 311 fans in a forum and that I spent my time doing nothing. That was it, I think.

it depends on the person

some people wouldnt understand it much, so if i get an aim message from then and she asks who it is, then id be like "one of the guys/girls i met at a 311 show"

for others its straight up

My girlfriend knows about it and actually finds some things that come from here funny. (See: Y'all some bitches) With that said she doesn't understand alot of the humor or how why we have conference calls with people that most of us have never met. I guess this whole thing is just hard to understand from the outside.

I told my girlfriend from a year and a half or whatever ago about it. She'd make jokes about it all the time. Sometimes when I was meeting her some place, and she'd see me walk up, she'd say "HEY AREN'T YOU SHINY FROM TAIYED BRODELS?" It was kewl.

Well I did tell my significant other about this forum and I am terribly sorry. She was not prepared to coexist in a place other than the shitfest that is myspace. Luckily she has long forgotten about this place.

I think I always explained it as just a 311 forum I posted at.
But I guess these days this place is just as much about everything else as it is about 311.
More of just a conglomeration of jackasses I converse with through the tubes.

When I was in Florida and saw 311 in West Palm Beach, I was with my brother and ran into a group of people who knew me and he didn't really get it. haha we chilled w/ them the whole show and I felt like a famous person or something. Of course most of those guys were BBers but for some reason still knew me.

I guess the concept of TB mixing with real life intrigues me. Especially with stuff like facebook that kinda merges the two.
