So college...
Couple questions for those in college
Did you guys find college to be easier in High School?
What do you guys like about college?

First year was easier because a lot was just a repeat of high school. The rest is about the same, some of it is harder but not much harder. I still don't read the book (unless doing homework to find the answers), don't do homework (unless it is collected, then sometimes not even then) and don't study for tests (unless right before the test while sitting in class). I still get As and Bs with the occasional C or C+.

As long as you don't take the minimum amount of classes a semester to be a fulltime student and you don't withdraw/drop a lot of classes you could graduate in 4 years.wrjones311 wrote:I'm starting my freshman year at the University of Arizona in a few weeks. I hope I don't end up in college for more than 5 years, that's a lot of time and money going down the drain going for such a long time. Hopefully you guys are getting good degrees to make it worth while.

I'd say it's harder, but it really depends on what your major is. So in general, it's impossible to say whether or not college is harder or easier. It also depends on which school you go to. Some are more challenging than others. It's hard, but not impossible. You can do well, it just takes work... or having a major that doesn't require much work.
I liked that I actually felt like I was respected by my professors, especially as an upper classman. But that also depends on your school and major I suppose. There aren't as many people there who don't want to learn, like there were at my high school. You're surrounded by a smarter group of people, and that leads to some interesting conversation. But you can find those types of people anywhere. The best part I think is that you're living at a place surrounded by thousands of people who are your age. When else in your life are you going to have so many people the same age as you with similar goals in such close proximity? Take advantage of it.
